What do you hope to accomplish during your term on the Commission?
Whatever role the Commission plays in the effort to help the Port recover from the impacts of the bridge collapse, I want to be a part of that. Additionally, Executive Director Daniels has several great ideas on how to improve and expand the Port. I look forward to being part of those efforts as well.
I’m not from Baltimore, but I have family and friends here. I want to do all I can to ensure that the citizens of Baltimore also share in the prosperity brought to the region by the Port.
I want to make sure that we’ve got
as many qualified Baltimoreans as possible working there and benefiting from the Port.
What other causes are you passionate about?
Agriculture is a very important issue for me and supporting Maryland’s agricultural industry is my passion.
I served on the Montgomery County Agricultural Advisory Committee for years and am proud of my work helping agriculture thrive there. I look forward to bringing my passion for agriculture to the work of the Port Commission.
