OF THE WOMEN’S TRAFFIC & TRANSPORTATION CLUB!
The Women’s Traffic & Transportation Club of Baltimore (WTTC) is set to celebrate its 90th anniversary with a gala at the Sparrows Point Country Club on May 26.
“Our club was founded May 26, 1933, so it really worked out perfectly,” said Mary Jane Norris, a 33-year WTTC member and Chair of the committee that is planning the gala.
The event’s theme will be “Transportation Through the Decades,” a look at milestones in the transportation industry since the club’s founding. The celebration will also honor past Presidents of the club.
“It’s going to be both fun and educational,” Norris said. “We want it to have significance and to be memorable for all those who attend.”

The longevity is due to “the dedication of generation
after generation of strong women who passed that legacy down to us. When one of us can’t do something,
there’s always someone else who steps up. There’s such
dedication and loyalty. People need this club.”
— Karen Bush, WTTC President
