‘Keep the Port Running Strong’
CAPT. MICHAEL REAGOSO
IS A WELL-KNOWN FACE IN THE MARITIME COMMUNITY
While Capt. Michael Reagoso is a Philadelphian by birth, he’s become such a fixture of the Port of Baltimore that he may as well be a native.
In addition to his role as General Manager and Vice President at McAllister Towing of Baltimore,
Inc., Reagoso is President of the Board of Directors at the Baltimore International Seafarers’ Center, Atlantic Region Chairman at The American Waterways Operators and sits on the Executive Steering Committee for the Baltimore Port Alliance (BPA).
“I’m very proud of my role at the BPA because it’s all about the relation- ships,” he said. “We all work together to keep the Port running strong.”
From Maritime Academy to Maritime Advocate
Back in his native Pennsylvania, it took Reagoso a little while to figure out his career of choice. “I partially completed my college education, then realized
I didn’t really know what I wanted to do,” he said. An initial career as a food broker didn’t prove to be the right fit.
