RECORD
Seagirt Records Highest Number
of Truck Transactions
In January, Seagirt Marine Terminal recorded 81,428 truck transactions — the highest number ever recorded in a month. The transactions resulted in the delivery of 31,282 containers.
The old record was 80,290 truck transactions with 30,829 import deliveries, set in October of 2023. Many thanks to our partners at Ports America Chesapeake — which operates Seagirt under an agreement
with the Maryland Port Administration — as well as the International Longshoremen’s Association and the Maryland Motor Truck Association.
